Hey
Just ran Crim 10 mile in Flint this past weekend, and wondered if you guys ever thought about playing at a road race. There was I think 4 different bands at Crim, with a lot of other houses playing music from stereos, and last year at the Free Press marathon there seemed to be a band every other mile at least. The marathon is towards the end of october. I imagine there are others that may take bands - chicago marathon (Oct 7), cincinnati flying pigs marathon (in May I think)...
Anyhow, the runner's love it - I'm sure it's not a paying gig, but at a big race (Crim - 6000 people, Freep - 2000, Chicago - over 30,000!!) you are looking at a lot of exposure.

Something to consider?

Yes, I did see you guys. I remember being bummed out because you were in between songs as I passed, although you did start up on a song a few moments later - urgh I can't remember what it was but it was something from 60-70's rock era, something distinctive.

That was a big house. I didn't know Flint had houses like that. How did you guys get permission to play there?

Well, I guess this idea isn't so far out there after all if others in this group have done it.
