Hello there,
All members of The Polyphonics have been deeply affected by the recent terrorist actions. Early reports indicated 10,000 people had lost their lives while going about their day, working at the World Trade Center. Recently I've heard that that number is rising, as if 10,000 dead Americans isn't hard enough to digest. And that's just from New York, not factoring in the lives lost at the Pentagon or the plane that went down in PA. There are at least 10,000 greiving families out there right now, some with small children.
Our hearts go out to anyone who's lives have been uprooted by these events, either directly or indirectly. It's been a very sobering experience for all of us. In an effort to do what we can, The Polyphonics are trying to organize a charity event. The proceeds will go to the Red Cross.
We will send out e-mails and post it on our website as soon as we know everything for sure.
Thanks for hearing me out,
Vance. |
